I am still buzzing from Paul’s session on ’21 Ways to Kick-Start Your Sales and Marketing’ for the Manchester Business NLP and Emotional Intelligence Group last night. Paul is one of the most polished presenters we’ve ever had. His PowerPoint slides were the most engaging I’ve ever seen (and didn’t contain a single bullet point).
Most importantly, the content of the two-hour session contained about two days worth of practical tips that audience members could take and act on instantly. Paul clearly puts a lot of thought and experience into his courses – a refreshing change from the tired (and often counterproductive in the modern era) clichés that are still doing the rounds with many sales trainers.
For example, the tips on getting referrals contained two ideas that were new to me but which had that ‘so simple I can’t believe I didn’t think of it’ quality that is the mark of a really good idea. I would recommend Paul as a sales expert and trainer to any SME audience.
